To ensure your comfort when having Cosmetic Dentistry we use a special injecting technique when we numb you up for treatment and warm our anaesthetic solution to body temperature. This ensures that you do not feel anything when being injected. We also use topical cream made from our own special recipe that gets placed onto the gum to numb the area prior to being injected. We also do not start any treatment for at least 5 minutes to allow time for the anaesthetic solution to work. No treatment is carried out until you are completely numb and feeling comfortable. Should you experience any discomfort during treatment we will stop immediately and give you a bit more anaesthetic.

Many of our nervous patients think they feel pain even before treatment has started! This is because of past experiences they associate the dentist with pain. To make them more relaxed we offer them oral sedation. This helps to calm and relax you. We still numb you up as usual as sedation is not pain relief but just relaxes you prior to treatment. Having sedation makes treatment not only easy for you but for us too.
