What is Informed Consent?
Informed Consent is when all the information and details are given to the patient before treatment has commenced. The patient has received enough information and understands what treatment they are having, why they are having it and how much the treatment will be. The patient will then sign a consent form stating that all options have been discussed and information explained and they consent to the treatment.

At any time before, during or even after signing the consent forms, if the patient still has any questions regarding the treatment they are welcome to ask any of the staff or Cosmetic Dentist.
Once a consent form for treatment has been signed the patient is free to change their mind about having the treatment. You are not obligated to have the treatment because you have signed a form, the patient has only signed to say that everything was thoroughly explained and he/she has understood.
