Things to know before going for Botox treatment

clock June 12, 2008 08:55 by author admin

Botox – an approved treatment by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Botox is used to correct lines and wrinkles on the forehead, frown and eye lines (crow’s feet).  Botox treatment takes 5-10 minutes and is painless to have done.  Botox usually takes 3-10 days to take effect and can last 3-6 months.

Our Cosmetic Dentist will first assess your compatibility with Botox. You can have Botox unless any of the following:

  • You are allergic to Botox.
  • You are pregnant or breast feeding.
  • You have acne where the Botox is to be administered.
  • Have any muscle or nerve disease that may effect the reaction of Botox.

Make sure all medications or health aspects are discussed fully with our Cosmetic Dentist before you continue Botox treatment.

Some people are worried that Botox may leave you expressionless, but our highly experienced and trained cosmetic dentist can administer Botox to suit your personal needs so that your wrinkles and lines disappear without losing expression.

If you are interested in Botox treatment, contact Perfect Smile Spa, one of the leading cosmetic dental clinics in London on 01708 442114 or email care@perfectsmilespa.co.uk

What is Restylane Treatment

clock June 11, 2008 01:50 by author mike

Restylane is hyaluronic acid gel, a substance already in our body.  It is used to smooth out wrinkles, folds or lip enhancements.  Millions of treatments have been performed in over 15years with Restylane.

Restylane safety is proven and reactions to Restylane are very rare.  Restylane gives you flexibility and control over how you look.  As your face may change with age Restylane treatment can be tailored to your individual needs.  The hyaluronic acid used in Restylane is not extracted from animals hence there is no risk of sensitivity.

Restylane is painlessly administered by a highly experienced and trained cosmetic dentist, as local anaesthetic is used.  The great result of Restylane is instant and usually lasts 6-9 months.  You therefore have control when you want a Restylane top up.

There are different forms of Restylane to suit different size wrinkles, folds and lip enhancements. If you are considering Restylane treatment, please contact Perfect Smile Spa, one of London’s leading cosmetic dental clinics on 01708 442114 or email care@perfectsmilespa.co.uk
