What makes a perfect smile?

A perfect smile lifts a persons confidence and makes them feel more attractive. Whichever perfect smile you choose, whether it is a Hollywood white smile or a more natural look, symmetry is extremely important.

Symmetry

The front teeth should be symmetrical in size, length and shape. This provides an aesthetically beautiful result.

Horizontal Alignment

The ideal smile line should be parallel to the horizontal plane.

Smile Line

When smiling the edges of your lower teeth should be parallel to the lower lip.

Gum Line

The gum line connects the highest points of the gum levels of the upper teeth. Ideally this line should follow the line of the upper lip, to ensure minimum gum exposure and optimum display of the teeth on smiling.

Smile Width

A narrow smile hides the back teeth. A wider smile allows perfect progression from front to back teeth, giving a more attractive smile.
