Dr. Ali Payam Sattarzadeh qualified as a dentist from the Bart’s and The London dental school in 2002. Following a period in general dental practice he took up hospital posts in oral and maxillofacial surgery, paediatric and restorative dentistry. He then worked in community dentistry treating very young children and special needs patients. In 2005 he commenced his specialist training in orthodontics at Royal London and Ipswich hospital, obtaining Masters Degree in orthodontics and Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr Sattarzadeh has been practicing orthodontics exclusively working part-time at our practice and the rest of his time in the Hospital service where he is undergoing the necessary accreditation pathway to become a Hospital consultant in Orthodontics.

He is on the Specialist Register (orthodontics) of the General Dental Council and is a member of the British and European Orthodontic Societies.

As an orthodontic specialist Dr Sattarzedeh accepts referral for all ranges of orthodontic problems affecting adults and children and where appropriate provides treatment utilizing a variety of orthodontic appliances including: cosmetic ‘tooth coloured’ braces, self-ligating ‘Damon’ braces (the latest technology braces), lingual braces (braces placed on the inside of the teeth) and invisalign (clear aligner’s).
